NUS now offers veterinary medicine in a concurrent degree programme with the University of Melbourne. Pharmaceutical sciences will offer two new degree programmes. Furthermore, NUS will collaborate with the University of Dundee to offer a joint degree programme. This programme consists of NUS’s life science programme and University of Dundee’s biological or biomedical sciences programme. NUS will also increase the combinations for its double major and major-minor degrees by almost two-fold. NUS Senior deputy president and provost Professor Ho Teck Hua said this move is meant to enhance the versatility of NUS student in their employment opportunities considering a softening job market (jokes on Prof Ho, there’s no need to worry about a weakening job market when I can’t get a job at all).
