Amidst its recent scandals, the Trump administration just hit a new low last Wednesday (Feb 28) by losing its White House Communications Director – Hope Hicks. Hicks was pivotal in steering the Trump ship through some of the toughest PR storms; she defended him fiercely, yet never crowded him for the spotlight. Hence, her leave was rather a huge blow to the temperamental chief executive, especially when the beautiful political novice fought her way to the top not with much solid political experience, but with something Trump values the most – loyalty. Upon her leaving, Hicks will join Steve Bannon and Sean Spicer as the 10th staff who has left the administration. The search for a new Communications Director is yet to begin, as Hick’s last day has not been revealed. One thing’s for certain though, her departure has left the West Wing rather panicking and very much, hopeless.
